Anubis I Case Study: Meniscus Systems Ltd
Having been awarded £10,000 to invest in technology, all the winning companies took an innovative idea and weaved it into their businesses. Here is a summary of their successes thanks to the ANUBIS funding.
Meniscus used the ANUBIS funding to develop technology solutions aimed at helping utility companies reduce their costs.
The company developed a software system which helps predict flows to sewage pumping stations in real time, in order to help reduce energy use and to reduce the risk of raw sewage overflowing during storms.
Mike Everest, managing director of Meniscus Systems, is optimistic of new sales orders in 2007. “Without the ANUBIS funding we would not have been able to develop this software which is now generating much interest from water companies,” he said.
